Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how Martina Mittelmann Jewellery processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with applicable Swiss data protection law and, where applicable, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data controller and contact

2. Website access and hosting

When you visit this website, our hosting provider may process technical access data required to operate and secure the website. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the page or file requested, browser and device information, and server logs.

We use this data to provide the website reliably, ensure its security, detect misuse and resolve technical problems. The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf to operate the website.

3. Contact and consultation enquiries

When you contact us by email or send a contact or consultation enquiry, we process the information you provide. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, telephone number, message, interests, consultation preferences, country or region, occasion and preferred appointment details.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a consultation, provide requested information and, where appropriate, take steps towards a contractual relationship. We store valid form submissions securely in our WordPress administration area so they can be reviewed and processed safely.

4. Make and CRM workflow

To process form submissions efficiently, the submitted data is sent securely from our website to the automation platform Make. Make transfers the information to the connected customer relationship management (CRM) workflow. A contact and, where applicable, a consultation or business record may be created or updated there.

Make and the connected CRM providers process the data solely to handle your enquiry and the associated customer relationship. Access is restricted to authorised people and service providers involved in this process.

5. Recipients and international data transfers

We share personal data only when necessary to operate the website or handle your enquiry. Recipients may include our hosting provider, Make, the connected CRM provider, and email or IT service providers used for communication and support.

If a recipient processes data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, we take the measures required for such transfers under applicable data protection law.

6. Retention

We retain enquiry data only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and the associated customer relationship, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Data that is no longer needed is reviewed and deleted or anonymised.

7. Cookies, analytics and third-party content

We use Real Cookie Banner to obtain, store and document your choices regarding technically necessary and optional services. A pseudonymous consent identifier, your selection and the applicable banner configuration are stored in cookies or local browser storage. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the fingerprint icon.

The embedded Cal.com booking calendar is loaded only after you consent. If you have not agreed to Cal.com yet, selecting “Next” keeps you on our website. You can then specifically allow Cal.com using “Agree and load calendar”. Only then is the calendar embedded and your consultation type, interests and budget selection shared with Cal.com. Real Cookie Banner stores your calendar permission; your other cookie preferences are preserved. Cal.com also uses a service for technical error reporting. Technical connection data such as your IP address and browser information, as well as your selected consultation type, interests and budget information, are then sent to Cal.com, Inc. Cal.com may use security cookies and local browser storage; processing in the United States is possible. For more information, see the Cal.com privacy policy. The Google fonts currently used are hosted locally on our server. No non-essential analytics or marketing services are currently configured.

8. Your rights

You may request information about the personal data processed about you and request the correction or deletion of inaccurate or unlawfully processed data. Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights to restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise your rights, you can contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority. In Switzerland, this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy if our website, services or legal obligations change.
